Terrific Tuesdays

So I absolutely, whole-heartedly, one hundred percent think Tuesdays are my most favorite day. Why you ask, I would love to tell you. Or better yet I think i'll make a list.

1. I get to see my kids.

2. My husband is usually off, so that's a bonus.

3. We have playgroup/bible study with the most wonderful people.

4. I am a busy body and so is my son so we love to go new places and play

5. Travis loves playing with his friends, and actually Abby likes playing with her friend too, they are so funny you should see the yell at each other, they get so excited.

6. Tuesdays are chickie way days (Chick Fil A) for those of you who do not know

7. Family day, tuesdays evenings used to mean gymnastics but now it's just plain good ole fashion family time.

8. I don't have to plan anything for dinner because it's chickie way day.

9. Sometimes I get a nap but not always, but I get to keep my kids on their nap schedule.

10. Last but not least, I get to sit in my bed and play on my computer while trav falls asleep.

Friends

While I was taking a shower (apparently this is the only time I am able to think) I started to think about how truly blessed I am to have such great friends. Old friends, new friends, friends that are willing to watch your children so you can run to the store, or the bathroom (both are important to me), work friends, friends that have kids the same age as mine, friends that speak their mind, friends that are quite and reserved, friends that hold your hand, friends that give you a hug, friends that call you, friends that genuinely care about how your day went or how bad your day was, friends that can relate to my life. For a long time I only had a couple of friends that I could say these things about. I am happy to say today that I have a great circle of friends.

My computer

Ok so this is probably super cheesy but it is truly funny to me. We just recently purchased a MAC laptop. You know the kind that is really and truly laptop, (unlike all our others that had to stay plugged in at all times). I am currently obsessed, ok yes obsessed with it. It has a really cool function in the iphoto section that automatically recognizes pictures and places them in a folder based on faces that you have set. Unless you have my children who look soooo alike that it mixes their pictures up. Yes I know the program works because my mom uses it. By the way the computer is off limits to the children. They are not even allowed to look at it.
